Chearsley News - Important Information

Chearsley Chearsley News Re-Subscription

Chearsley News is our occasional village newsletter, sent by email to those that have asked to receive it.

It has been in existence for many years and the distribution list is believed to contain many old and/or unused email addresses.  We are therefore going to re-fresh the list to ensure that future editions go only to those that wish to receive them.

To do that effectively and efficiently, we have to disable ALL existing subscribers and invite those that wish to continue receiving the newsletter to sign up again.  This is very simple and will take only a minute or two.

The overall process will work like this.

Thursday, 2 April 2026.  A Subscription Email will be issued on Chearsley News. This email will contain a link to a Sign Up Form that can be used to re-enable subscriptions. Shortly after it is issued, the entire distribution list will be disabled.

Sign up should not however be attempted on Thursday as the process may not work properly that day. 

From Good Friday, 3 April 2026.  Anyone who received the link in the Subscription Email now can use it to Sign Up.  The link will also be posted here.

It requires only email address and name. 

Just fill in the information and click submit. 

You will then be automatically added to the renewed Chearsley News distribution list
